No. Shelf Life only has one entrance on Front Street. Once inside the building, there are stairs to and from the bookstore.

Shelf Life accepts donations and trades, and purchases from suppliers.
I do not shop at other thrift or book stores for inventory or attend book sales at libraries, churches or other venues as it defeats the purpose of the mission- which is accessibility to affordable books. I am available for post-sale pick up and do offer cash donations to organizations that find this helpful when it comes to strained storage.
I’m also available for estate pickup/drop off. Personal libraries can be very sentimental to families and that sentiment is not lost on me. I dedicate great effort to rehome as many books as possible from individual estates. This is after all, how Shelf Life began. See the store here. -

While I appreciate the sentiment of wanting to contribute to Shelf Life, please keep the mission in mind- which is accessibility to low-cost/no-cost books. If you come across free books in the wild, please leave them that way, as that is what they were intended for.

Shelf Life is a thrift bookstore. There is a heavy focus on low-cost/no-cost reading. A large portion of the inventory is $1 or less, including children’s books. There are always free books available. Nothing in the store is priced over $25. Anything priced over $1 has been deeply discounted from standard retail/resell value.

Shelf Life no longer sells gift certificates.
If you need a certificate as a donation for a fundraiser or other charitable event, please feel out the donation request form on this site. -
